Learn more about the Eye Clinic

NEI’s Eye Clinic hosts many clinical trials on the NIH campus in Bethesda, MD.

The Eye Clinic is for patients who are part of an NEI clinical trial or study. We don’t provide regular eye care or eye exams. If you need routine eye care, see our tips for finding an eye doctor.

Find a study at the Eye Clinic

To find out about clinical studies at the Eye Clinic, visit the NIH Clinical Center website or call 1-800-411-1222. Before joining a clinical study, it’s important to talk to your doctor about whether the study is right for you.
