Research to Prevent Blindness (RPB) is a nonprofit organization that provides grants to support high-impact vision research at academic medical centers across the U.S. RPB supports individual vision scientists, as well as high-performing departments of ophthalmology, and is committed to fostering a diverse and dynamic pipeline of vision researchers.

Mission

RPB's mission is to preserve and restore vision by supporting research to develop treatments, preventives, and cures for all conditions that damage and destroy sight.
