National Marfan Foundation

Disseminates information about Marfan syndrome, a genetic disorder of the connective tissues in which dislocated lenses, early onset cataracts and retinal detachments are among the ocular symptoms common to Marfan patients. Provides a network of volunteer support contacts for patients and their family members. Supports and encourages various types of research. Publishes The Marfan Syndrome, a comprehensive booklet on the disease, and fact sheets on the Marfan eye.
